Fernando Asi\u00e1n\u00a0<\/b>(born 1951) is a\u00a0Spanish-Venezuelan\u00a0artist<\/h2>\n

He was a story writer for Chiqui de la Fuente’s comics. From this first collaboration grew many others, including the \u00ab\u00a0Genicabra\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Gag\u00a0\u00bb series for the Barcelona Junior Gazette.<\/p>\n

He was the founder of Madrid’s Diario Pueblo’s El Cuco Sunday supplement, introducing series such as \u00ab\u00a0El So\u00f1ador\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0XB1\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

He wrote the first anti-war comic under Franco’s Spain. When he denied to commit to drafting, he moved to England, publishing his works on BBC and IPC magazines.<\/p>\n

Through SI Artists and Temple Art in London, he collaborates internationally, such as with \u00ab\u00a0Zodiac\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Johannes\u00a0\u00bb published in Tarot magazine.<\/p>\n
